Plans to finance $612bn to be discussed by Cabinet | RJR News: "As the country awaits this week's crucial Budget Presentation by Finance Minister Dr. Peter Phillips, Cabinet is today expected to hold final discussion on the plans to finance the 612 billion dollar Estimates of Expenditure.
Speculation is rife that new revenue measures will be announced by Dr. Phillips when he opens the Budget Debate on Thursday.
Government officials were last night reluctant to give details on the budgetary issues on the agenda of the Cabinet's weekly meeting at Jamaica House.
The 2012/2013 Estimates of Expenditure were reviewed last week by Parliament's Standing Finance Committee."
