The office building lease will commence February 1, 2013, and Houston's fifth largest accounting firm will occupy the 17th through 20th floors of the 952,000-square-foot America Tower.
"Ultimately, the Greenway Plaza submarket had become so supply constrained, that the economies and efficiencies they were evaluating outweighed tenure," comments Stream Realty Partners LP's Anthony Squillante who, with Kyle Jacobs, John Pope, Jeremy Hunt and Chris Johnson, represented the tenant in its search for new space. Squillante tells GlobeSt.com that the commercial real estate space at 2929 Allen Parkway was the best fit for the tenant when it came to amenities, security and location – the building is approximately five miles from 12 Greenway Plaza. The new space, which is currently vacant, is also slightly smaller than its current digs – UHY currently occupies 92,938 square feet."
