Various factors play a role in determining the value of a company. We, therefore, conduct business valuations in three different ways.
DCF or APV method
We start the process by drawing up prognoses through a thorough analysis of the company and the market. We investigate how the company is expected to develop, on the existing principles and in a strategic takeover. On the basis of the prepared forecasts, we perform a valuation. This valuation is usually carried out on the basis of the Discounted Cash Flow method (DCF method) or the Adjusted Present Value method (APV method) . This means that future free cash flows will be discounted at a relevant cost of capital.
Multiples
In addition to this method, a business valuation also looks at similar acquisitions. This valuation technique is also called Multiples. Multiples are financial ratios of market value and drivers that are relevant to that value of a company. These provide a good indication of the expected market price of a company
