The twinning of knowledge and output - Business - Jamaica Gleaner - Friday | July 6, 2012

The twinning of knowledge and output - Business - Jamaica Gleaner - Friday | July 6, 2012: "On Monday, June 18, the Caribbean Growth Forum (CGF) Conference was held at 'The Vice Chancellory, Regional Headquarters, University of the West Indies'.

Some of you may, I'm sure, balk at the spelling 'Chancellory', even your Microsoft Word program objects, highlighting it as an error. This was my first reaction too, as the email notification of the upcoming event showed up in my inbox.

In the today's world, however, this spelling is acceptable though sticklers for tradition may object and insist on the original spelling 'Chancellery' for the place and 'Chancellor' for the human occupant."
