Colombia positions itself for growth in mobile applications market - Business - JamaicaObserver.com: "COLOMBIA'S Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications (ITC) and BlackBerry maker Research In Motion (RIM) announced last week that they are collaborating on a project designed to help train college students and professional software developers in mobile application development.
"Colombians accepted the challenge of working hard to build the software applications industry based on the Information and Communication Technology Industry Reinforcement strategy [FITI], which has shown tremendous advances," stated ITC Minister, Diego Molano Vega.
