VIDEO: Tax reforms could increase take-home pay for PAYE workers - News - JamaicaObserver.com: "ABOUT 267,000 Jamaicans or 85 per cent of Pay As You Earn (PAYE) taxpayers could see an increase in their net pay under new tax reforms proposed by the Private Sector Working Group (PSWG).
This is if Government implements the body's proposed changes to personal income tax rates and payroll deductions applied on PAYE earners, PSWG chairman Joseph Matalon has said. He noted that individuals earning up to $2.5 million annually would be the beneficiaries of the estimated $2.8 billion relief package."
