This year, travel will take on added significance as many head to London for the Olympics. Here are some things you need to know before you arrive at the airport.
VIRGIN ATLANTIC
Baggage allotment economy: Bag Size: Up to 90x75x43 cm or 35.5x29.5x16 inches is two bags.
Premium economy: Two bags with up to 23kg (50lb) each and up to 920x75x43cm or 35.5x29.5x16 inches
Upper class: Three bags with up to 32kg (70lb) each and up to 90x75x43 cm or 35.5x35.5x29.5x16 inches.
Carry-on baggage: A carry-on suitcase and a laptop can be taken, but only if you are travelling in upper class. If travelling in economy or premium economy, you are allowed one piece of hand baggage on board, so a laptop bag can be placed in original hand baggage or you must check the other bag in."
