OCHO RIOS, St Ann — Chairman of the Jamaica Employers' Federation (JEF), Wayne Chen says that creative ways must be found to grow local businesses in order to make them more productive.
At the same time, Chen said employers also need to find ways that will make the enterprises more efficient, hence motivating and managers and staff.

Speaking to reporters following last week's opening ceremony of JEF 30th workplace convention and expo at Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort here, Chen said Jamaican enterprises were not only competing with "the firm next door, but with everybody else in the world."
