Red Stripe to grow own raw materials in Jamaica - Business - JamaicaObserver.com: "Red Stripe plans to grow raw materials locally, with an aim to replace 70 per cent of imported inputs by 2020.
"We are looking at establishing commercial agreements with farmers, using a blend of two to three large farmers with 800 to 1,000 acres along with several small farmers, to grow cassava and sorghum to brew our beer," said Red Stripe Head of Corporate Relations Marguerite Cremin about the initiative, called 'Project Grow'."
